AI vocabulary · spaced repetition

You memorized it.
Then it was gone.

That is not a memory problem. It is a timing problem. IM VOCA brings every word back right before you forget it.

How it works

Three steps. Then it runs itself.

1

Photograph a page

Any vocabulary book, any textbook, even your own handwriting. One photo.

2

AI builds the wordbook

It pulls out every word with meanings, pronunciation, example sentences and word origins.

3

Reviews schedule themselves

Each word comes back six times, on the days you were about to forget it.

Why you forget

Memorizing is your job.
Not forgetting is ours.

Six reviews, spaced further and further apart, following the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve. You never pick what to review — the app does. Flipping a card is not enough: you have to answer the quiz for the review to count.

What you get

Any book becomes flashcards

Questions

Before you start

Which languages does it support?

The app interface is available in English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish. The official wordbooks teach English, and their meanings are written in Korean, Chinese, Japanese or Spanish — so they fit learners reading one of those. English meanings are not written yet. Whatever your language, you can build your own wordbook in any language pair by photographing a page.

Do I need a paper book?

Only if you want one. The camera turns any page you already own into a wordbook, and typing words in by hand is unlimited and free. The official wordbooks — 4,800 words across twelve CEFR levels — are free too, with meanings written in Korean, Chinese, Japanese or Spanish; pick the one you read and they are yours.

How is this different from Anki?

You do not build the deck. Photograph a page and the cards exist, complete with meanings, example sentences and pronunciation. The scheduling is fixed and automatic — nothing to configure.

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing is lost. Overdue reviews wait for you instead of resetting. There is no streak to break and no penalty.

Is my data safe if I switch phones?

Sign in with the same account and your words, progress and review schedule follow you — across devices, and between the web and the app.
